It's a small compliment after few months hard works of sample recruitment. Not going to attend this since no sponsor this year. Nonetheless, having a name and data listed on international conferences and "Circulation" journal sounds cool for me. =)

Cambodia trip - Photos only

Cambodia- the Kingdom of Wonders is by far another country in my travel top list. I will definitely go back there again, because there is so much especially the myth of Angkor Kingdom yet for us to find out. It is a lovely place and is one of the 7wonders of the World. Next time will go back with better camera.

More patience

 

I nearly exhausted and bored with my life now, i spent nearly 2-3 hours on road everyday. 30 minutes drive from home to uni then come back, sometimes drive 20 minutes from home to gh then 40 minutes from gh to uni, and another 40 mins from uni to gh if got sample to collect. I am going crazy!!!!!!!!! If i go gh, another 10-20 mins to look for parking space. Arrghhhh… i’m bored to ask for more samples, ask for help, find this and find that then again to bother what people talk behind me. I just want to focus my life in my masters and experiment!!!!!!

Updates Jan 2010

After tidying up the data, I decided to send up an abstract to one national meeting, hopefully the abstract get accepted though not much supporting data presented. Life still goes on with more works to cover. This year is a tricky year and I started the January with major focus to familiarize myself with the molecular works, started do basic molecular works before I touch the real time pcr and also microarray, learn from surrounding, from seniors, even undergraduates and also friends who do research in overseas. Try to absorb more as I could from everyone. I signed another new contract with Cardiac Society and the contract will last for 1 year. Start feeling the pressure, especially how to make sure I finish the master benchwork this year. Try to expand my social circle, especially to brave myself not to be so shy all the time. But I think it’s the nature of me, I tend to be more sentimental and prefer quiet time when being myself. I just learn that only being aggressive, somehow we won’t miss the opportunity to show ours potential and ability. Is time to adjust if want to have win-win situation. Other than that, i going to USA for a 3 weeks trip which may cover Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, California, Arizona, and Nevada, or maybe Utah. Ok, it sounds crazy to cover those states in just 18-21 days. But maybe USA trip will be cancelled if I don’t get the leaves, or if I can’t finish my works. So didn’t put too much hope on this, at least for now. =)
